When it comes to budget GPS systems, TomTom has nailed the formula. The company A row of navigators have always earned high marks for value in recent years, navigation supplies on an equal footing with the big boys, but without the extras that are typically inflated price tags.

Testing and usage
Speaking of the all-important question of fixing TomTom has redesigned the windshield this time also. The entire A line uses the same slender windshield that TomTom easy port calls. Unlike the scrapping we have seen in the past, the new unit folds flat against the back of the unit when not in use, turn easily through 360 degrees in place and locks the glass with a twisting motion that creates a killer grip. Although it is certainly cleaner than previous versions, the GPS from the rotation ring appears so light that you actually need to keep the two pieces if you move it so it end up on the floor. It is not difficult, but perhaps only at the end of desperately trying to fish it out of the front passenger foot space a few times before this method is deeply rooted.

Lane Guidance, a boon for serious complex intersections, but do not expect the lifelike pictures you’ve seen in navigation systems such as the Go 930th Instead, the One 140 S them as icons in the corner: three white arrows highlight the far right, for example.
