03.30Garmin Introduces the Forerunner 110
Garmin Garmin has announced another Baptist, Baptist’s new 110, Fitness Watch entry-level, which offers some nice features in a truly compact size. Forerunner 110 captures the classical Details on GPS, like PACE, but it can also be paired with heart rate monitors for an additional level of data and understanding of your suitability.
Water-resistant and thinner than any other GPS-enabled fitness watch on the market, the Forerunner 110 can boast of a high sensitivity SiRFstarIV GPS receiver with HotFix Garmin’s ® technology to quickly acquire and maintain satellite reception, perfect for the wooded trails, under trees or in dense urban areas with skyscrapers.
“Forerunner 110 fills the needs of runners at all levels, focusing on simplicity without loss of accuracy,” said Dan Bartel, vice president, Garmin International Sales. ”During the second goes beyond simply click and immediately begin to know your distance, pace and time – all without complicated setup or excessive accessories.”
Data transfer (up to 200 hours from the time) can also be downloaded to your computer and uploaded to Garmin Connect via USB-connection of the Baptist’s. USB connection through the clip that gets on a series of contact points on the back of the Forerunner 110 (see above). This clip also charges the device. Garmin Connect displays such indicators as time, distance, speed, altitude and heart rate. This information is displayed through charts, illustrations, maps, reports and submissions, including street, photo, topographic, and elevation maps as well as popular applications from Google Earth.
